A popular legend and customs that were practiced in the past. The legend revolves around the moon eating a whale during an eclipse. However, the director discusses during the presentation the devouring and killing of love in front of people while they remain motionless.

In conjunction with the World Theatre Day, which falls on the twenty-seventh of March this year, Sawari Theatre held a memorial evening for the late Bahraini artist Ibrahim Bahar yesterday. It was announced under the slogan "When the People Say, Who is the Fata" on the stage of the Cultural Hall at eight o'clock in the evening.

The story of the Bahraini director and theater artist Ebrahim Khalifan with the theater is an old tale, stretching back for years before the establishment of Sawari Theatre, which he managed more than once, as well as the Theater Club at the University of Bahrain, which he supervised for a quarter of a century. In this celebratory edition, we will tell something about the journey of the artist Ebrahim Khalifan with this sprawling world.

The play Painful Scream, directed by Zakaria Taqeeq, mimics an Arab reality in the silent way of the theatre. The play expresses an Arab-Western conflict, where Arabism is in the context of resistance and war between Western intellectual expansion. The play sheds light on the worries clouding the the Arab world, where its nations are divorcing their genuine identity and replacing it with the western culture through the misuse of the advanced technologies introduced by western countries.

Krumi's Apple... A Theater We Await" is a documentary film of 14 minutes, written and conceived by the writer Youssef Al-Hamdani, voiced by Ahmed Al-Fardan, with editing and graphics by Omar Al-Sulais. Produced by Al-Sawari Theater in 2006. The film succinctly narrates the journey of the late creative director Dr. Awni Krumi in enriching the theatrical movement in the Kingdom of Bahrain. It covers his first milestone, the Fourth Gulf Theater Festival in 1994, and his participation in the intellectual events revolving around scenography in theater

The play revolves around a couple who have not been blessed with children, leading a childless life. The wife struggles for years with the desire for motherhood and fulfilling this innate aspect of every woman's life. Eventually, they turn to a doctor who promises them a solution: resorting to IVF (In Vitro Fertilization). However, after the procedure's success, they discover that the upcoming child will be disabled. The couple then grapples with a fierce conflic.

The festival's story began back then, carrying with it challenges, obstacles, projects, and hopes for a better reality. But all in vain, except that the young ones have grown up. And because the young ones have grown up, they cannot bear to see the situation as it was twenty-five years ago.

Theatrical activity originated and flourished through rituals practiced within processions during religious celebrations, which were annually held in ancient human civilizations such as Babylonian, Egyptian, and Greek cultures. These processions took place on predetermined dates in the streets, glorifying the gods and celebrating annual religious festivals.
