Mohammed Shahin, the festival's director and vice president of the board of directors of the Sawari Theater, stated, "The thirteenth edition of the Sawari International Youth Theater Festival aims to open up broader horizons for theatrical experiences, bringing together the experiences of young theater practitioners to enrich the theatrical movement and provide audiences with diversity and sophistication."

Al Sawari Theatre celebrated the 61st edition of World Theatre Day in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, President of the National Arts Council, and Her Excellency Aisha Youssef Al-Sada, Head of Cultural Programs at the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, in addition to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahraini Theatre Associations Union, Mr. Abdullah Malik, and a number of invitees, enthusiasts, and pioneers from artists and actors.
