Al-Sawari Theater held its general assembly and discussed and approved both the literary and financial reports. Among the most significant proposals approved by the general assembly at its meeting on Sunday evening was the reduction of the number of board members to 5 in the next term, instead of 7. Additionally, the general assembly recommended that Al-Sawari Theater intensify its external participations and enhance its artistic and administrative capabilities.

Following that, the general assembly elected 7 of its members to the board of directors: Mohammed Radwan, Hussain Al-Rifai, Hussain Al-Areeby, Isa Al-Derazi, Mohammed Shahin, Noor Hameed, and Saleh Al-Derazi.

In its first meeting, the board of directors of Al-Sawari Theater elected Hussain Al-Areeby as the president, with Mohammed Shahin as his deputy, Isa Al-Derazi as the secretary, and Saleh Al-Derazi as the treasurer. The determination of the remaining committees was postponed until the strategic plan for the theater is established and responsibilities are accordingly defined.

The general assembly meeting of Al-Sawari Theater was attended by 23 members out of 30 eligible to vote. After his election as president, Hussain Al-Areeby stated that Al-Sawari Theater succeeded in attracting around 20 new members in the previous term, who deserve membership according to the regulations and bylaws effective midway through this month. He promised that the board of directors would make every effort to elevate Al-Sawari's name and place it on the map of Arab and global theater.
